We had a great stay at Hotel Continental Bluedoors. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The room facilities were clean and sufficient. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, providing us with all the information we needed. The airport pick-up/drop-off service was convenient and hassle-free. The hotel's wifi was reliable, great to stay connected throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for its central location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

The staff was really doing there best to accomodate to every wish.
The hotel could increase dramatically if they would do something about the sound insulation. There are some shops on the ground floor who tend to make a lot of noise in the morning. Overall the building has a very bad noise / echo situation... You can hear pretty much everything from the groundfloor people up to the 3rd floor. The room door wasnt really soundproof either and I am sorry for the other guests staying there while I was there but I really tried my best in closing the door without too much noise. When asked for an (European) adaptor it took them a day to find one and when they did this one seemed broken ... This hotel may very well have been a landmark in the 30-50's but it seems the infrastructure is also still from those days and not updated.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the historic center. The location was perfect for exploring the main sights of the city, including the Museo de Oro and Museo de Botero, as everything was within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a great selection of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and good quality bread. The hotel also had a spa that I took advantage of, with both dry and humid saunas, a jacuzzi, and even the option for a massage. The best part was that this place offered amazing value for money, with two nights costing only $85 at a 4-star hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city.
In summary, I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Breakfast. Walking distance to museums and plazas.
Noisy location at night. Room very cold as no insulation. Staff not attentive to requests. Asked for extra quilts and channel rate charge question and staff never called me back on either. Room was cold as windows not insulated. Free breakfast was great and filling. Staff little slow on putting food supply out.

The hotel's location is great for tourists, with easy access to two main TRANSMILENIO bus stations and centrally located in the city. It's also close to several universities. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is fairly good.
The upkeep of the hotel is lacking. While the staff tries their best, the cleanliness of the rooms is not up to par.

the staff was great and the location was unbeatable......the rooms were excellent as well
the price quoted by your website was $1128, but i actually paid about over $100 than that, you need to include the "security charge" and some other charges or taxes that somehow didnt add up.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a good, sized shower. It also had a fridge and a room safe, which were very convenient. Location, wise, it was just a short walk from the Gold Museum and other tourist destinations, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
The amenities in the room were not very well, stocked, with only one glass and two mugs, and no plates or cutlery to use with the microwave. the spa access was quite limited, with only a few hours in the afternoon for the Jacuzzi and spa treatments, which made it difficult to use when out exploring the city during the day.

The Continental is great value for money, in the heart of Candelaria, so no bus or taxi trips, lots of nice restaurants in this neigbourhood and safe. The staff is very nice and always willing to answer your questions, most of them speak reasonably english, which is convenient if you do not speak spanish....
The building is renovated recently but the materials used make it very noisy. Early morning when the staff comes and greet each other you are sure to wake up if you are a light sleeper.I would recommend the hotel to invest in carpet on the corridor floors to reduce the noise.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel, located near many tourist attractions, including the Gold Museum and the peak of Mount Monserrat. The spacious rooms were well-organized and provided a feeling of living at home. The hotel offered great facilities and a clean environment, and all employees were very attentive. We were able to enjoy a comfortable bed and breakfast each morning.
Nothing, all great.

Amazingly comfortable bed and great view from the room. Excellent location near many restaurants and shops. the staff were polite and helpful in recommending activities to do around the area.
The room was not as clean as I hoped it would be. The bathroom had some unpleasant odors that were hard to ignore.
